•she usually stops him from getting into fights but sometimes when the guy deserves it she supports his decisions and cheers him on from a few feet away while checking to see if there’s enough money in her bank account to pay his bail

•Cole would never tell anyone but ruby got him into Taylor Swift

•both Cole and Chubs try to establish themselves as the cool uncles when ruby and liam have kids so they’re always trying to out cool each other and chubs fails miserably

•she helps him date aka “COLE STEWART don’t you DARE BUY THAT GIRL A DRINK YOURE MY RIDE HOME” and “what the fuck is this stewart fix your tie before you go talk to her”

•call each other dumb nicknames like ‘gem’ and ‘hothead’

•do boxing/running together

•if Coles ever there Liam feels like a third wheel on his own dates

•Liam hates double dates because him and Cole’s date just end up looking at each other awkwardly because they don’t get any of the inside jokes

•Cole, along with vida and zu, helped ruby pick out her wedding dress (and was surprisingly helpful)

•ruby is the referee between Cole and Liam when they argue and they both know they’ve seriously fucked up when ruby refuses to talk to either of them for a whole week
